That was also why I didn't apply your $PLUSUSER patch immediately -- the
same thing could be achieved by supplying one's own "From:". There are
certainly situations where it'd be easier to use an environment variable,
though, so I finally put it in.

Yeah, I guess you missed that in my post that started this thread:
* Renamed the "mmailid:" setting in mts.conf to "masquerade:", and
changed it so that rather than being a boolean, it can be set to
any combination of the three values "draft_from", "mmailid", and
"plussed_user". Thus it is now possible to enable the three types
of masquerading individually.
Like your individual bits, but a "bit" more user-friendly. If we decide to
go to a single environment variable that can handle '+' or '-' extensions,
I'll rename the "plussed_user" value.
