That's a fair point, but I'd be more reluctant to change default behavior in case users depend on it. Have you tried nmh/share/doc/nmh/contrib/replaliases? (Or whereever it's installed on your system.) It think it could be configured to do what your patch does. In any case, it works as-is with recent nmh. Of course, it has it's own drawbacks, primarily with the user editing quoted-printable. That should be solvable though I haven't been motivatee enough to try. David
