[NMusers] examples of PKPD modeling in pre-clinical drug development

I am looking for a few example of the use of PK/PD modelling in the 
pre-clinical development that has positively improved the development 
process i.e. reducing the TIME or COST of development.

Any suggestions or leads will be greatly appreciated.
