This DDMoRe course in Infectious Diseases is one in a series of comprehensive 
face-to-face courses introducing the principles of model-informed drug 
development, covering a range of therapeutic areas, via the newly-developed 
DDMoRe interoperability framework.

The Pharmacometric Research Group, Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences at 
Uppsala University, Sweden, together with the Institute of Pharmacy, Freie 
Universitaet Berlin, Germany, are happy to invite you to the following 
face-to-face course:
"Model-informed Drug Development in Infectious Diseases"

Dates: 8-12 February 2016

Venue: The Biomedical Center, Husargatan 3, Uppsala, Sweden

Intended for: PhD students and Postdoctoral fellows doing research in the 
quantitative life sciences field, but also open (if places will be available) 
to other scientists.

Topics: The development and application of pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic 
models for bacterial infections, tuberculosis, HIV, HCV, hepatitis, malaria and 
leishmaniasis, will be discussed and combined with an introduction to the 
DDMoRe framework (new modelling & simulation language, model repository, 
interoperability platform)

Program: Lectures, hands-on sessions, student group work, workshop, and student 
presentations

Fee: Free of charge (transport, accommodation and food not included)

Maximum number of participants: 20 (If needed, selection will be based on the 
registration information, with priority to PhD students/post-docs and 
participants from different institutions).
