The University of Minnesota’s College of Pharmacy, Department of
Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology (ECP) invites applications for the
position of Assistant or Associate Professor with a focus in
Pharmacometrics.  We are seeking individuals who will complement our
existing strengths in pharmacometrics by contributing field-shaping science
to the areas of quantitative systems pharmacology, systems biology, disease
modeling, methodological or computational skills related to
pharmacometrics.  Successful candidates will possess an earned doctorate
(e.g., Pharm.D., M.D., Ph.D.), and must have research experience that will
enable the establishment of a program of clinical/translational research.
The candidate will also interact with members of other disciplines,
schools, centers and research groups at the University to advance our
capacity to make significant contributions to quantitative systems
pharmacology.  Ideal candidates will understand the profession of pharmacy;
complement other departmental strengths including pharmacogenomics, drug
metabolism and pharmacotherapeutic research expertise within select
therapeutic areas; and contribute to the instruction of professional
pharmacy and graduate students.



A record of strong academic, industrial, or organizational leadership and
collaboration, as well as evidence of excellent teaching and communication
skills will strengthen the application.  Candidates must be eligible for
appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at the time of
