I've gotten a number of requests asking how to configure the "standalone" G+ notification panel I mentioned yesterday evening -- so here you go. This only works properly on the new notification panel currently rolling out. Yep, it's a hack, but I'm already finding it useful. The primary purpose is to make seeing and responding to notifications as smooth as possible, helping to avoid missing potentially useful dialogues.
