While the author of this piece (linked below) has written for a number of right-wing publications, and so apparently felt it necessary to throw in a disparaging comment about Hillary Clinton and Obama, her analysis is essentially correct regarding what's really behind the ongoing crazy rants that "Google has too much power!" and "Google is a monopoly." It's not about "saving people from Google" -- it's about giving immense powers of information control and censorship to EU and other government bureaucrats who are very much in the Chinese and Russian school of controlling every aspect of what their citizens can do and see -- and ideally controlling how they think, as well. These government officials and their cronies are the enemies of freedom.
