Tesla slams Reveal News as "extremist" after expose alleged factory improprieties
https://arstechnica.com/cars/2018/04/tesla-accused-of-improper-worker-safety-reports-calls-news-site-extremist/ Reveal News, a non-profit organization based in Emeryville, California, published a story Monday concluding that Tesla "has failed to report some of its serious injuries on legally mandated reports, making the company's injury numbers look better than they actually are." In turn, Tesla retorted Monday that Reveal is an "extremist organization working directly with union supporters," adding that the story "paints a completely false picture of Tesla and what it is actually like to work here." Ars specifically asked Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Twitter whether he agreed with the use of the phrase "extremist organization" and under what criteria he makes such an assessment. He did not reply. We also put the same question to Tesla spokespeople, who similarly did not respond. - - - Whatever else he is, Musk for sure is a hype artist and world class jerk. L.A. is insane to even consider approving his tunnel scam. --Lauren-- Lauren Weinstein ([email protected]): https://www.vortex.com/lauren Lauren's Blog: https://lauren.vortex.com Google Issues Mailing List: https://vortex.com/google-issues Founder: Network Neutrality Squad: https://www.nnsquad.org PRIVACY Forum: https://www.vortex.com/privacy-info Co-Founder: People For Internet Responsibility: https://www.pfir.org/pfir-info Member: ACM Committee on Computers and Public Policy Google+: https://google.com/+LaurenWeinstein Twitter: https://twitter.com/laurenweinstein Tel: +1 (818) 225-2800 _______________________________________________ nnsquad mailing list https://lists.nnsquad.org/mailman/listinfo/nnsquad
