[VIDEO] My Ancient Artifact in Operation
I'll be publishing the details regarding my restoration (accomplished
with zero funds) of this remarkably engineered, nearly century-old
artifact -- which dates to around 1925 -- as soon as possible.
Without the aid of various 21st century resources available via the
Internet -- and especially Google Search, Google Books, and YouTube --
this project would have been impossible, and there are individuals to
thank as well.
As the familiar composition progresses, and becomes increasingly frantic
(especially in its latter portion), we see and hear the incredible range
of this data processing and performance system, a complex melding of
digital and analog mechanisms that don't even use any electricity, that
would set the pattern for technology still in use today.
I hope that Bugs Bunny -- and Tom & Jerry -- would be proud! Enjoy.
