VIDEO: 1983 in L.A.: "Wally George"
I happened to see a reference to Wally George today, and egads, the name
went bing in my brain and I suddenly remembered him. How I could have
forgotten this "fixture" of L.A. Talk TV is beyond me. But all I had
to do was look at a few seconds of video and it all came pouring back.
Now, why am I mentioning him? If you didn't live in Southern California
in the last few decades of the 20th century, you probably never heard of
him at all. Perhaps the best way to understand is to take a look at this
1983 show video, in light of our current political circus. You'll understand.
