Right, in this case the overhead of the thread pool dwarfs everything
else. I brought it up because it's in general a good idea to avoid
string-to-buffer conversions. The http_simple benchmark, for example,
slows down by about 40% with strings. There are even some pathological
cases where V8 veers off into O(n^2) land (we're close to fixing that,
though).
