Hi all

I just noticed that when I ran npm outdated it said everything was
hunky-dory but in fact some of my packages were out of date. The packages *
were* up-to-date with respect to the versions specified in my package.json
dependencies, but I understood that I could use npm outdated to tell me if
any packages were out of date, regardless of that. In fact I asked about
this on IRC a couple of months ago and Isaac was kind enough to clarify for
me.

Anyway, given that I still misunderstand how npm outdated works, is there a
way to check my dependencies to see if I should investigate updating
anything beyond the versions I currently say I support in my package.json?

G.
