Hi, Did you try download the pre-built binaries from the Microsoft Download Centre?
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29995 We're still working on making the node-sqlserver driver work in Windows Azure. Since it's a binary, it won't just install nicely using npm without some hand-holding on your part. For now, we have a guide which can help you set your application up in Windows Azure Web Sites. :) https://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/develop/nodejs/how-to-guides/sql-database/ Thanks, Jonathan ________________________________ From: [email protected] on behalf of almarjin Sent: Tuesday, July 31, 2012 06:41 To: [email protected] Subject: [nodejs] Re: Azure Unable to load nodejs shared library Hi mscdex, If that is the case, is it possible for me to download files from any source then from my local push it to the server? instead of npm install node-sqlserver. Perhaps the system you're uploading your files to differs in architecture or in some other way from your own that makes the compiled addon incompatible? -- Job Board: http://jobs.nodejs.org/ Posting guidelines: https://github.com/joyent/node/wiki/Mailing-List-Posting-Guidelines You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "nodejs" group.
