Since I did not receive any answer, I looked into it myself – and found the answer more quickly than I had dreamed possible. This, then, is mainly for the benefit of others who might be interested; but I have another question as well: The problem turns out to be with V8. And here is an issue about it: http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=459 TL;DR: The problem won't be fixed in v8. However, a fix is in v8-i18n. And that brings me to my question: What chances of success would one have if building node with v8-i18n instead of plain v8? I am guessing at least there will be some risks, as each node release seems to contain a carefully hand picked v8 release. And if v8-i18n doesn't track v8 very closely, picking a suitable v8-i18n relase to use may be difficult. - Harald -- Job Board: http://jobs.nodejs.org/ Posting guidelines: https://github.com/joyent/node/wiki/Mailing-List-Posting-Guidelines You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "nodejs" group.
