Oh, and if you had bothered to read the specification you would have found 
this:

"All input is expected to comply with JSON, with two exceptions: the # 
character (not inside strings) begins a comment that lasts until the end of 
the line, and trailing commas are permitted at the end of list and dict 
contents."
