Howdy. I took Node v0.9.9 for a quick test drive. I noticed performance for one of my HTTP apps decrease considerably. I started Node with the trace_opt and trace_deopt flags to take a peek at what V8's doing.
I noticed quite a few de-optimizations related to the new Streams interface for Readable.push and endReadable. (In addition, EventEmitter.emit is de-optimizing like crazy, but that's nothing new.) Before I get too deep on analyzing this… Has this been raised as an issue? Is there discussion taking place around this that I'm unable to find? Any plan of action?
