I just started of with the *Node Up and Running book* and am following the
example as is but my chat output looks different.
What am I doing here? Example 2.5
var net = require('net');
var chatServer = net.createServer(), clientList = []
chatServer.on('connection',function(client){
client.write("Hi");
clientList.push(client);
client.on('data',function(data){
for(var i = 0; i < clientList.length; i++){
clientList[i].write(data);
}
});
});
chatServer.listen(8458);
The output I am getting is shown in the screenshot. When I type, the
letters repeat
