Hello

Please consider the following code:

    var foo = "bar";

    function one() {
        var foo = "baz";
        two();
    }

    function two() {
        console.log (foo);
    }

    one();
    two();

Outputs:

    bar
    bar

Question: in one() function, is there a way to override the variable
temporarily, like the "local" keyword in Perl? Because doing:

     function one() {
        var foo_orig = foo;
        foo = "baz";
        two();
        foo = foo_orig;
}

Isn't super elegant.

Thanks
JM
