When trying to install leveldown/levelup on Windows using node 0.10.9 & npm, npm/node-gyp grabs dependencies from http://nodejs.org/dist/<insert node version here>/ i.e. http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.10.9/node-v0.10.9.tar.gz
This was on an offline (no Internet connection) machine. I'm trying to figure out what other dependencies it's going to need (obviously the install didn't finish). However, when I try it now on Mac OS X on a connected machine, it works fine and doesn't seem to look for anything on nodejs.org. Is that a Windows only thing?
