Hi, I am looking for Open Source programmers who want to work on a number of social projects using Node.js and JavaScript frontends.
I need both architecture and infrastructure engineering programmers as well as user interface programmers. I am looking to find people to prototype ideas in in lieu before going for crowd funding so you get paid. The projects are incremental and should all work together in the end to provide an alternative solution to social networking. I am a C/C++/JavaScript/HTML/CSS programmer and know node.js and would like to find like minds who are interested in these projects. As a taster the first project is a bookmarking/favourites manager based on XBEL (XML Bookmark Exchange Language) with a drag and drop tree interface that allows private bookmarks as well as user publically published bookmarks. There would be a Node.js backend for the storage and conversion of bookmark formats. A web based interface with drag and drop tree interfaces. Then also browsers plugins/extensions for IE, FF, Chrome, and Safari in browser usage. Anyone interested can either reply on group or to me personally. Hope you are interested, I have lots more incremental ideas to lead to an enhanced user experience for the dissemination of information on the web.
