I think you can find some stuff online. I think the evented and 
asynchronous nature applies to being a networks server more or less same as 
it does to a "web" (http) server. One word of caution is that programming a 
network server is a bit more sophisticated, or just different, than vanilla 
web app programming. You may want to consider the pros and cons of node.js 
before diving in.
