I vote to get rid of the rule. I didn't even realize we had it. I made a trade
a year or two ago, for the last month to cover myself at a position, when I
realized that I was going to run out of atbats. They were crappy atbats to, so
I was at a pretty good disadvantage. I've never understood why someone would
even want to play someone out of position for an extended period of time,
unrealistic to me. I'll just plan my team roster that way, and manage without
it, with or without the rule change. Just play with no injuries and it
shouldn't be that difficult. Randy> Date: Mon, 2 Feb 2009 06:50:47 -0800>

The rules are that way because Lou you wanted that rule in years ago. ?However
SOMBB advance rules say that you can play players out of postion making their
rating the worst it can be except for the outfield. ?Lou you ask about this
rule everytime the subject comes up. ?I will remind you that was because we had
a team that went to the playoffs playing all year with only 1 catcher on his
roster. Thus the LOU rule (to be fair most agreed with you about putting the
rule in). However now that we use strat's rules about playing out of position
we certainly can do away with the LOU rule as I also see no reason for it any
longer. ?It doesnt matter to me.> >> > ROBERT> >> > Please note: message
