I would be okay with no email draft or an all-email/draft website draft. I
think trying to do both is what is tough. The other league I am in does just
the website draft, and it runs incredibly smooth. There are no uncarded players
so that definitely helps, though. Maybe we should vote this season on an
approach to the draft.
That being said, I think the history of this league involves a core set of guys
who have gotten together for a face-to-face draft, which is a hoot, so it would
make sense to continue that tradition. If that is the case, then a one day
marathon draft is probably best. The excitement of the first few picks/round
one choices is gone by now anyway. By round 5 in a 30 keeper league leaves out
all but a few gems or new prospects to sort through.
Just my thoughts. Having set up the draft website this year I selfishly would
like to see it used if only as some result of those labors. But c'est la vie!
I'm just glad to be in baseball season! My football team tanked...

I think maybe we should do away with the email draft all together as it has
been nothing but a pain in my ........

That is not fair so get drafting so it is fair for all 20 teams.

The draft stopped because as stated before the draft started we were only going
to draft 2 or 3 rounds by email. As U can see we have almost finished 4 rounds
and the draft in now less than 2 wks away. I decided that since the game had
already been recd by at least 2 teams it was not fair to make teams that had
not recd their yet to draft. FIY I was one of the 2 that got the games.
