Hi All,
First off I noticed my ballpark is still listed as the Oakland
Coliseum. I switched to Busch Stadium. Should I just change it or does the
file need to be changed. Please inform.
Perhaps it's not my place as this will be my first year in this
league however I feel compelled to comment on some of the things I've
observed. To begin with there has never been a time in my ( GOD willing ) soon
to be
55 years on this planet when things have seemed so screwed up. It seems the
powers that be are rewarding incompetence and immorality while those of us
who have done our best to play by the rules are footing the bill. The
temptation to vent our frustrations on each other is understandable but
wrongheaded.
The people running this league are not infallible they will make
mistakes. However they are donating an enormous amount of their time and in
my humble opinion doing a fantastic job, and I'm sure most if not all would
agree. This league can be a diversion from the problems that surround us. In
fact I think we can benefit beyond mere diversion. I hope to strike up
lasting
friendships. So while the pressures we face in our personnel lives may show
no signs of letting up. I hope we can us this league as a respite from the
tension and look at each other not so much as competitors but as a
