Since we only had 2 comments ref my suggestion to go with: I do like your idea of having pitchers with overage to set out 1st round but allowed to be used in all other rounds.
we are going to take batters overages divide by 4 = games per series the must sit out intirely. All pitchers over my more than 2/3 of ip will set up 1st round. I honestly thing that this is fairer than banding them for all playoffs.
