I've been playing around with the sequencer and i really like the way
of working eg. patterns to move around in phrases etc.
But i'm having probs with the gui being very slow here. According to the
docs.
it should be rather fast, even on older hardware.
I'm using a dual core 5 y.o. Athlon pc and i think that should be ok.
The NTK lib was configured to use cairo ( says the config log ). Still
the pattern view needs about 2 seconds to redraw in default view (
getting worse when zoomed out )
Is there some config step i missed that makes drawing so slow or is it
the TK. ?
ps. i did a simple test with cairo...it can draw 1000+ cells ( rects,
filled and stroked, like in the pattern view ) in 0.04 sec's. So things
can be faster than what i have right now.
