[non] non seq - gui doesn't update

Hi

Using the current git repo.

1.
In non-sequencer the gui doesn't update reliably,
for example when inserting notes, they
do not become visible.

2.
Some pc-keyboard commands do not appear to work,
as time-insert / delete, "C".
