I've tried importing an Ardour2 session into non-timeline and it works very well.
I haven't been able to import individual files to audio tracks however. It says in the docs to drag and drop onto the timeline with a graphical file manager (xfm in this case) but it doesn't appear to work. I could probably figure out how to edit the session files so a file copied into the sources directory is recognised, but I'm hoping there's a more convenient way. John
