Yeah, I didn't know the distinction between linear/pattern as categories;
only in what one would try to do.  I got it basically working now in
Non-Sequencer, but I see I'm going against the grain using it for this.
It's really just a backup, so it doesn't look too difficult to pull off
once I get used to some of the settings.
