hi, i'm back on non-tools after a while. i'm not really into pattern/phares/sequence sequencers, i've mainly used "linear" paradigm di record midi, but i'm really fascinated by the non suite, especially the modular architecture.
i'm trying to record a piano pattern on a chorus. non-timeline is the time master with all its guitars and drums, so i thought punch-in/out there, would have start recording on non-sequencer as well...actually, it does, but it does not start at the beginning of the pattern, so i'm a little bit confused now...how should be the workflow? i mean, I create an 8 bars empty pattern, click on record button in sequencer, set punch in/out in timeline, start playing in timeline...what am i missing here? release is 1.9.2 built from git any hint would be much appreciated cheers max
