I see. It is possible in the way that I mentioned (muting strips or routing around). However there is not currently any OSC message for setting the bypass. It would be a relatively easy thing to add, but I would worry about people thinking it was OK to do live.
If you want to change it between songs, then why not just have a separate NSM session for each song?
