Three students of College of Veterinary Sciences of CCS Haryana
Agricultural University were arrested last night on a charge of ragging
freshers. They have been identified as Amit, Devendra and Vishal. Three
others — Chirag, Abhimanyu and Parveen Yadav — were reported to be
missing.

Official sources said they “forcibly” took several freshers residing in
Vrindavan Hostel to the university research farm. While they were being
allegedly ragged university officials reached there and rescued the
freshers.

The authorities lodged a complaint with the police. A case under
Sections 341, 342 and 323 of the IPC has been registered against the
six students.
