On 20th October there was a *Breast Cancer Awareness Camp *organized in *Handique Girl's College *Gauhati. The camp was jointly organized by *ICCN , FASS , local NGO RODALI *with association of Handique Girl's College. Mrs Gayatri Devi from Handique Girls college gave her welcome address and Mrs Alaka Goswami, Vice -Principal Handique Girl'e College preside the meeting . Dr Jayantimala Chakravarty from RODALI , gave her valuable presentation with demonstration. Dr Jayanta B Sarmah from UK attended the camp and gave a speech about ICCN & suggested that college student should volunteer by giving some of their some time for cancer patient. October is the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) It is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast Cancer organizations to increase awareness of the disease and to enlighten the public of its cause, prevention and cure.
