Potential alternatives:
- set it to recognize all .bat as Perl
- manually select the language

Indentation is to me one of the most annoying aspects of programming. A feature
I would really like to see in N++ (if it's not already there and I haven't found
it of course) is automatic indentation, as in Apple's Xcode for example. So
the program should understand when you're typing a new subroutine or loop or
whatever an indent what's between the brackets accordingly. A feature to clean
up and reindent existing code would also be nice.

Bonjour
Je suis programmeur en PL/SQL et donc je fais du SQL a longueur de journee.
Par contre avec PL/SQL il y a plusieurs extensions utilise soit pck pour
package,
procedure, trigger, function etc. Donc pour toutes ces extensions je veux
toujours
Merci d avance
Sylvain

I have written some Japanese web sites, and the charset is "shift-jis".
When I copy HTML code to npp++ 3.9, Japanese characters are broken.
How can I get these characters displayed properly?
thanks in advance.

Hello !
Edit File ' langs.xml '
Search for 'name="sql"
All words after : <Keywords name="instre1"> are in upper case ---> covert to
lower case. ( except last word </Keywords> )

One thing I miss from N++ is that highlighted/coloured text as can be seen when
you select N++ to interpret whatever language from the list, cannot be copied
as rich text, then exported (i.e.) to OpenOffice.
I find really helpful syntax highlighting but it would be great if there was
an option to copy (or save as) selected contents as rich text. When I have to
prepare a document with some shortcuts of code I miss this feature.

sorry, this is another question, but do you have syntax highlighting for qt4
(qt4-keywords such as "slot", "signal", etc.) ? if you have, where you got it
from? if you did it youself, could you load that file for
qt4-syntax-highlighting
up?

If I set terminal 8px font (non bold, on almost each option to eat up blank
spaces between lines) my fold boxes are displayed as dots not boxes!!!
can I somehow set the size of fold boxes or it is limitation in desing ?
