Hello guys!
I like you work very much, you are the best.
Notepad++ is my only love editor.
I have downloaded last RC version. And I have 2 problems.
1)How can I disable auto-adding )]}?
There is option here: TextFX->TextFX Settings->Autoclose )]}. It is uncheked,
however I have autofinishing. And when I check it, I have another one )]}. This
mean when I print "(" I have "())". How can I fix it or it is a problem of
editor?
I don`t use autofinish..
2)And second one.
I have php extension file called test.php (created in Notepad++).
Content of file is next (I have more complex file, but I simplify it and problem
is still there):
<?
//src image
$im=imagecreatefromjpeg("sample3.jpg");
?>
When I open this file in Notepad++ I don`t see code highlight. Then I delete
comment and CRLF before it and code becomes normal highlighted. I can return
comment pressing CTRL+Z and code also normal highlighted.
I am sorry for my bad English, I hope you understand me.
Great thanks yo all you - you are the best! ;)
Regards.
Alexander.K.

Does anyone know how I can bind some Emacs like shortcuts in notepad++?
Specifically I would like to map:
ctrl+p (cursor-up)
ctrl+n (cursor-down)
ctrl+f (cursor-forward)
ctrl+b (cursor-back)
I checked the "shortcut mapper" and it doesn't have cursor-up, cursor-down,
cursor-forward and cursor-back
Thanks,
Anthony

There is a list of projects using Scintilla (the editing component used by
Notepad++)
at http://scintilla.sourceforge.net/ScintillaRelated.html. Many of the projects
are for Linux.
If all else fails, you can try Wine (http://www.winehq.org/), which allows you
to run Windows applications in *inux.

Hi,
I'd like to see (and I think/hope I shouldn't be alone):
- tcl.api
- tcl functions in FunctionList module.
These two features would complete the TCL support in Notepad++.
Best regards.

Is there a way to delete lines that contain a certain string? I can mark all
the lines that have the string but don't see a way to delete those "marked"
lines.
Ex:
ABC
XYZ
ABCXYZ
12345
I want to delete all lines that contain XYZ
Therefore, lines 2 & 3 are deleted and I am left with only lines 1 & 4
ABC
12345

I am a new user to Notepad. I am using version 3.5, if I upgrade to 3.9 or 4.0
do I have to uninstall the old version or can I install over the version I
already
have installed.
Thanks in advance for any replies!

Loading of shell icons takes time - extremly on external devices.
Best Regards

I thought this was a forum for Notepad ++, not a forum advertising links for
teen porn. Get a life, or better yet get a wife.

There is no need to uninstall Notepad. Only if you upgrade to 4.0 you should
remove following files in 'plugins' folder:
ExplorerPlugin.dll
FunctionListPlugin.dll
They will be exchanged by
Explorer.dll and
FunctionList.dll
Best Regards
Jens
