When using NotePad++ 4.0.1 in Windows 2000, I have noticed that the files and
folders (if they have custom icons) being shown in various NotePad++ windows
have the wrong icons, which can make it difficult to find files/folders at
times.
Two exceptions are shared files/folders (which properly show the "hand" icon
underneath them, though their file/folder icon is still wrong), and folders
without custom icons. Uninstalling and reinstalling NotePad++ does not fix
this problem.
This issue is not present in NotePad++ 4.0.1 on Windows XP, or NotePad++ 3.9
and below in Windows 2000 - in both of these cases, files and folders have the
correct icons shown.

Although I've checked the options, I could not find anything to accomplish
"selecting a text and copying/moving it to another tab"
Would be a nice feature...
-Select text
-hover on a tab for more than a specific length of time
-tab becomes active
-drop whereever you like

In my case (using NP++ version 4.0.1 under Windows XP) it even fails when I try
C:\>"C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe" c:\test.txt
or
C:\>"C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe" "C:\test.txt"
NP displays the message
C:\test.txt doesn't exist. Create it?
NP++ looks great, but I would like to be able to open a file from the command
line.

I've got a problem with assotiated file icons. When I assotiate any file type
with Notepad++ that file type gets system default icon like it has no assigned
app. I use WinxP SP2 and N++ 4.0.1

Hello. I try to switch to notepad++, and I have some questions:
1. Is it possible to make the "function completion" (ctrl+space) automatic?
So you don't need to press ctrl+space, and this windows updates automatically
as you write?
2. I don't know how is it called... but when you use a function, a windows
automatically pops up, and show the function description, arguments etc... It's
called Intellisense, Calltip or something like that...
3. How to update php API? Distributed one lacks many PHP5 functions.
