Don,

Please, please, please implement this feature: I love the feature where you
can click on the opening bracket of a function and the closing bracket
highlights,
allowing you to sort though nests more easily. Please do this for html tags!!!
Where when you click on a tag, the closing tag highlights the same way. This
would be incredibly useful!

I was just programming in HTML and i noticed that npp doesnt have
allowtransparency
for the iframe tag in it's list of commands for html. unfortunately, since html
is embedded, i cant go in and just add it. will it be possible to put it into
the next version? should i just create my own api that has all of html plus
this? has this issue already been addressed? thanks in advance

Is it possible to open multiple instances of Notepad++? It would be great if
I can organize the files I'm working on into logical containers by having
multiple
instances of notepad++ running.

REally sorry, i was using it incorrectly. My reference said to use it as iframe
allowtransparency="true" . this is wrong, my bad, someone go kill this thread
since it is worthless.

Um... doesn't work in Ubuntu 6.06.1, even following your tutorial and running
Wine 9.9.0...

Can you make a post as to IF you even are going to port it... and if you are,
when?

Notepad++ is based of Scantilla's Scite... it's a VERY similar editor, so why
not install it?

For Ubuntu users:
"sudo aptitude install scite" should do it. Enjoy :D

Hello explorer user,

At first for those they still downloaded the final version:
Please download it again! There is a small issue in list [.] instead of [..].

For the others: Here the changes between Beta 1 and final:

Fix: Update of tree when switching between apps doesn't freeze Notepad anymore
Fix: Folders and Files are now sorted correctly on all OS
Fix: Create of new files or folders with characters "\/:*?"<>" now denied
Fix: UTF8 named folder displayed as "????????" now hidden
Fix: Layout behaviour of right docked explorer
New: Remembering of last selected filter
New: File search in file list by typing the name
Change: Configuration of explorer stored now in user application folder

Download here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/npp-plugins/

Best Regards
Jens

Yes, by command line and with the Explorer plugin.

To open a new instance via command llok into FAQ on Notepad++ homepage:
http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/cmdLine-HOWTO.php

With Explorer plugin:
Select file with right mouse click and call "Open in New Instance".

Best Regards
Jens

Tony, as a long time AWK user and recent Notepad++ convert, I would be a
delighted
user of any AWK syntax definitions you developed and posted for Notepad++
