I just started a new job with a law firm that uses trial director for their
syncronizing.
Is there a way to replace the spaces without shifting the whole document with
this program?

Here is an example of what I am talking about.

The original:

00001 : 01 AO: have you ever given a deposition before?
                02 GG: No
03 "AO: Um, Ms Layne, are we in agreement that we are
04 deposition pursuant to the rules reserving objections
except to
05 and responsiveness until the time of trial?
00002 : 01

This is how it should look

00001:01 AO:
02 GG: THERE IS TEXT HERE AS WELL BUT THIS IS AN EXAMPLE
      03 AO:
      04
      05
00002:01

I did not know if there might be a shortcut with this program.

Any help would be great...

Scott

I see the same thing in 4.0.2, but without using any multiple monitors. The
status bar also disappears at the same time. Both can be made to reappear by
pressing F11 twice... Others that I have introduced NP++ to have seen the same
thing.

I am trying to run the PHP executable in NPPExec to do a syntax check. I have
tried
npprun php -l $(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)
and
php -l $(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)
Note that php.exe is in my PATH, so shouldn't need the full path. This command
will perform a syntax check of a PHP file

Assuming I get the above to run, I would like the output from the command to
also be captured in nppexec's dialog

Is all this possible?

One of the features of ColdFusion Studio/Homesite that I hate to live without
is the ability to right-click an opening or closing tag and choose 'Select full
tag' to have the tag and all its contents selected. Is that possible with
Notepad++?

Hi,

I use Notepad++ 4.0.2 on WinXP. There is still a bug when opening long filenames
with 60 characters (or more) plus file ending. I found a help entry that this
should be fixed in Version 4.0.1 but it seems not so.

Hi,

I'm using a USB stick with u3 software. I want to use Notepad++ on the stick,
but now it is a little bit lost on the stick. If I could install it as a u3p
file (a U3 package) it would appear in the Launchpad with the other programs.
Are you going to deliver this version of Notepad++ in the near future?

BTW, I have tried a lot of editors, but Notepad++ beats them all! So keep up
the good work, guys (and gall)!

Cheers,
Rene

I've currently got editpad(u3) on my thumb drive, but its nowhere near as good
as npp. I was hoping someone would package it as u3p, but for now i've just
got it installed somewhere on the drive. It would be much easier and nicer if
it were in the launchpad though...

I made this based on a program I have called JassCraft, I think it looks pretty
cool. I haven't added any of the menus or buttons that are in NPP, and it was
made fairly quickly, but it looks really cool:

http://www.freewebs.com/chuff13579/other/New-NPP.png

Again, this looks very similar to JassCraft, so you would have to change it
a bit, but it looks much better than NPP now (and possibly even the other ideas
in this thread). I am not sure if it is possible to make it like this though,
and it could make the file bigger (I really don't know).

Open the file C:\Program Files\Notepad++\langs.xml
Locate the line
<Language name="php" ext="php php3 phtml" commentLine="//" commentStart="/*"
commentEnd="*/">

Remove the first "php" after ext=

Use similar trick to get CSS to work.

Hope this helps.
Podi
