I have the same problem unless I uncheck the Setting in Preferences under MISC
tab for "Remember current session for next launch".
I have also noticed that if you have this setting checked and your previous
session included a file whose path included a space (i.e. c:\Documents
and Settings\...) then Notepad++ doesn't recognize it as a single path. Treats
it as multiple file paths.

I submitted a nice icon (with SVG source) but I guess whoever got it threw it
away in favor of that pixelated piece of crap.

Hey, does any one know how to make notepad++ as your primary editor???
everytime i click on view source it opens it up with notepad and not
notepad++...

You have to enable View Favorites and View Explorer on toolbar, or you can do
it via menu Plugins->Explorer->View Explorer/View Favorites.
And be sure that you have Explorer.dll in \Notepad++\Plugins directory

I have a large file with postal codes for my country.
Now I need to put numbers in front of every line to import it to MySQL.
But there's almost 1200 lines and I was wondering if there is a way to make
a macro increase line number on every new line?

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.
Running Notepad++ 4.01. I was running this system using Windows XP Pro with
dual monitors on an Nvidia graphics card. The Nvidia driver was set up for
Dual-View. Basically my Task Bar was on the Left monitor however the desktop
extended onto the Right screen. I had NotePad++ opening by default(and sized)
on the Right screen. I moved this computer to a new location that only utilized
a single monitor. Now when I open NotePad++ it opens ok however the window
is not in view. I can see it running in the Task Bar but cannot find a way
to get it to open on the single monitor display other than Maximized. I can
select Size or Move from the Task Bar however nothing happens. If I select
Maximize I can get it to display but only Maximized. If I select the Restore
Down button in the top right corner it moves off the Desktop.

The default comments in Comic Sans size 8 are terribly difficult to read. I
download a lot of open source scripts and source files and it's very important
to be able to read the comments. I find it extremely taxing trying to read
the comments when they're *so small*. I've changed my styles to show comments
in the default text size, in Courier New. I wanted to suggest that this be
made the default to improve readability and save everyone's eyesight.

Here I have two CSS files:
1. http://www.mymiker.com/blog/skins/sunflower/global.css
2. http://www.mymiker.com/blog/skins/sunflower/layout.css
Download the two CSS files in your local drive. Open global.css first, then
layout.css. Now we have two tabs, and it seems OK.
Now just switch to the global.css tab, Notepadd+ crashes...
Open them again, just double click the layout.css tab, oops...., Notepad++
crashes
again...
It happens on my Sony laptop. Don't know if this will happen on your computer.
If it does happen, it's a BUG.

In the Replace dialog box there is a group box drawn around the only checkbox
item "In selection", but it is also drawn around the "Replace all" button.
In the Find dialog box the group box is drawn OK, around a number of items.
You can easily check this by opening either dialog box and hitting the "Switch
dialog" button a number of times. Unfortunately, this button doesn't have a
shortcut key (Alt + ?).
