Do you want a selector for both possible views in one window? My suggestion:

- If main edit area is open, only one list box for selecting the files
is visible.
- If main and second area is open, two areas are open.
- Both areas are separated with a resize border.
- List with file name and file path.

I am very busy at the moment with my new FunctionList version. I don't want
to work on a second project when I do bigger changes on my current one. 
Therefore
I don't wanna do this, whereas it isn't such a big challenge as Explorer or
Function List.

If you can write C++, why don't you create a new project. This is indeed a small
one. Take some of my available projects to realise this DocumentSwitcher. For
questions, feel free to ask. I will support you.

I agree! The way this feature is implemented is very frustrating and irritating.
We need functionality like panels in Opera.

Hi,

I have chosen to use Notepad++ as a MS Notepad replacement, and it's working
all right, save one thing: If I start up notepad++ without a file specified
I do have no cursor. I first have to click into the text element to activate
it. Is this a bug or a feature? Is there a way around it? When I open notepad++
I'd like to be able to write right away...

First, I have to say great job on an awesome program!  NP++ has been my daily
text editor for quite some time now.

I was thinking today, would there be any interest in making the search 
box/function
a dockable element?  I'm thinking along the bottom would be cool, kind of like
Firefox's search, or maybe like Visual Studio's functionality.  Any thoughts?

Hello,
I've encountred problem with .tcl file in which after one line everything gets
commented out.
Here's the sample code:

  set list [glob -nocomplain $localpwd/*];
  foreach l $list {
.......
  }
[/quote]


after line:   set list [glob -nocomplain $localpwd/*];  everything gets green.
The problem is with /* which is supposed to be a comment start for TCL (but
in my case it's diffrent) but this would only be intepreted by Tcl interprter
as comment if it would be on the begining of the line. The other thing is that
i went to langs.xml and changed line for comments to:
<Language name="tcl" ext="tcl" commentLine="#" commentStart="" commentEnd="">
and i still get /* marked as comment ;(

I don't know if it's a bug or so but it realy makes it hard to edit .tcl's.
Other then that NotePad++ is perfect!! Nr 1 tool for me!
