I am fully aware of different ways of preserving or quickly changing to desired
style. But this is beyond the point - what I suggested is that default comment
styles would be changed. Not everyone likes to mess manually with config files
and use some 3rd party tools. Maybe it would be nice to have a global comment
settings as they appear in many languages.

You can add a custom language using the custom dialog. The alternative is to
write a Lexer for scintilla.

Hi,
I need the "Format Document" feature which like Visual Studio 2005:
Command: Edit.FormatDocument
Key(s): CTRL + K, D or CTRL + E, D
Description: Formats the current document according to the indentation and code
formatting settings specified on the Formatting pane.
Command: Edit.FormatSelection
Key(s): CTRL + K, F or CTRL + E, F
Description: Formats the current selection according to the indentation and
code formatting settings specified on the Formatting pane.
I can use it to format my big xml file which contents saved with one line.
