Hi there,

I made a small and very simple plugin to quickly upload and download files from
a single FTP server. The zip archive with the DLL and a simple readme can be
found here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?2mlillnywuq
(not exactly SourceForge but it does the job)
Tell me what you think about it

Harry

So far, so good!

Will let you know if I have problems in the future.

Luckily I wasn't using any of the plugins. However, if I want to in the future,
I imagine I enable what I need and hope for the best? (i.e., hope they aren't
responsible for any crashes).

best regards,
-Graham

Hi and thanks for this wonderful editor. I have a suggestion: in the Search
command window, include an option to avoid searching in comments. When I make
comments to my code I often mention specific variables or functions, and when
I search them I get a lot of useless results. It would be fine if it was
possible
to choose to exclude them.
Thanks!

I'm sorry for posting here, I've noticed the "Feature Requests" section only
now. I've even registered... But somehow it doesn't work at the moment. When
I press "Submit", the new page doesn't load. Well, I'll try again tomorrow.

If you can help us to found out which plugins causes the crash, it'll be great.

BTW, can you describ how to reproduce the crash under Vista?
AFAIK, TextFX, ConvertExt, QuickText and SpellChecker are "crash free" plugins.

Don

Hi,

I'm using Total Commander in Windows XP, instead of windows explorer. In TC
I've set NPP as default text editor. Now, if I want to create a new file in
TC (Shift-F4), NPP starts with a question that file does not exists and if I
want it to be created. So far, so good. I proceed with "yes" to create new file
and NPP opens with new tab, named after just created file, along with other
tabs (files that I've opened before). So far, so good. Than, I add some text
and click "Save" (whatever, save icon or as menu command). File change indicator
turns off, as file is saved and I close NPP. So far, everything seems to be
ok. Now the bug: when I check just saved file on disk, I see it's size is 0
bytes. If i reopen it, it's empty. So, file was not saved properly. I've
reproduced
this bug many times. This bug shows only when creating new file in TC (with
Shift-F4). If I edit existing file (F4), it works ok.

Best regards and thank you for your hard work,
Stane

With simple search (control+f) you can enable "style found token" and click
on "Find All".

If they're on lines by themselves, and indented, you should see a faint vertical
line connecting the two. Not sure if I had to enable something to do that.

Change the first one, select that column of chars with a column block, then
use Plugins/TextFX Edit/Fill Down Overwrite.

Hello Jens,

you are right. When I define the subgroups top-down (e.g. first Month as a
subgroup
of Year, then Day as a subgroup of Month), then the second isn't possible. But
when I define the subgroups bottom-up (first define Day as a subgroup of Month,
then Day as a subgroup of Month), it is possible, eventhough the plugin doesn't
support this structure (and crash).
But now I know where the problem is and I maybe can make a work-around.
Thanks for your response and your work for this project!

Liebe Gr??e aus Bremen (I think you are german, if not: Best regards),
Simon
