Hi,

I really like N++!

As a former brief editor user the ability to switch key mappings globally would
be very much appreciated and also help others coming from other editors.

It looks like you already have most of the work done (shortcut mapper), this
is like a user-defined key mapping. Simply add pre-defined from Brief, Visual
Studio, vi, etc, etc (plus anyone can create and save a mapping to the n++
website)
and that's it.

Regards,
Tom

I also have the same problem with the NUL characters. Is there any solution
for this problem, or any option in N++ to deactivate this view. ?

As mentioned before, the SQL markup language/syntax highlighting is not
correct.
When there is a # in the line, anything behind it gets no mark-up at all, while
in fact it should.

# is used as a prefix for temporary tables. It has no meaning as a comment
statement
or anything like that.

Could you please fix this?

Hello,

Just to report a possible problem..

When editing a document with a lot of hidden characters displayed
like Bakhhjhk[NUL][ETX]ds[DC4]........

If you copy a selection of text it will only copy the beginning of the "normal"
characters.. so Bakhhjhk and forget the remaining ones...

And if you need to undo the changes, the first time it will make your cursor
go away.. and it will undo the changes only at the second time...

Did someone get the same problem ?

Thanks

Hello

I would like to suggest a function for TextFX plugin that i consider would be
really useful.

It would pick and convert every non-ASCII character into their HTML entity.

As an example, it would convert ?, ?, ?, etc into &ntilde;, &eacute;, &Ouml;,
etc.

Thanks!

Hello,

Just something I would like to hava had just now, the ability to copy the source
code I was working in colour. To paste in a documento or email or web page,
for example. I haven't thought much on the idea, what format to use and side
efects, just wondering if it was feasible.

Hi!

I've got a question:

Would it be difficult to add an option to TextFX plugin like "Don't convert
line breaks to <br/>"? For example, when I want to build up html structure I
type

<html>

press enter and TextFX writes:

<html><br/>

Further Improvement: Line breaks should only be autoconverted if I hold down
SHIFT. So normal ENTER would do a "standard" line break and SHIFT+ENTER would
create a <br/>-Tag.

Another suggestion: It would be a GREAT feature if autoclosing of HTML-Tags
would be also available for PHP, is this possible? On the other hand,
autoclosing
of braces unfortunately doesn't work when language is set to HTML.

And finally a mistake (don't know if someone already spotted this): If I check
"autoclose tags" and then check "autoconvert to html entities" as well,
autoclosing
of tags doesn't work anymore.

Can anyone handle this??
Correction of this few things would be really great, for Notepad++ would become
much more comfortable for webdesigners, especially for coders like me.

Btw: Is there a way to open the "STRG+SPACE-List" for autocompletion
automatically
when I want to add some attributes to a tag? For example, when typing CSS?

Best regards

Dominik
