AVG appears to have resolved the issue with todays updated definitions. Nothing
noted in their changelog though.

Hi,

I don't understand the syntax for the functionlist.

I use a special language for develop funtions in a CAD-system.

It's a procedural language.

Functions an procedures start and end with

#function <any_name>

...

#end

#procedure <any_name>

...

#end

How is the correct syntax for the rule in the functionlist.

Thanks in advance.

After some months using Notepad++ I saw an enhancement that I think is missing
and is very useful.

When you search an argument (via ctrl-F) it shows the next line that contains
this argument. My suggestion is that, in this case, Notepad++ open a window
showing all lines that contain the searching argument(like Ultraedit from IDM
computer solutions or KEDIT from mainsfield software group). It is so useful
to allow user find the line he wants directly. User just click over the line
he wants to find/see...

Greetings from Sao Paulo - Brazil

Ricardo

Hello,

Does anyone know how can I change the color of the vertical limit line?

I'm using a light gray background, and I can't see the line very well, because
of its color (I belive its something like CYAN right now).

Thanks in advance.

this would be a wonderful feature! it should make use of 'function list' plug-in
for best results.

WinSCP is working for me. It detects that I saved the file and uploads it,
without having to exit N++.

try maybe:

search ^(.|\n)
replace -\1

but this won't work if the \n is not supported... or you can try:

search ^(.|$)
replace -\1

but you'll have to try it... (haven't done it myself)

Hi All.

When you search ( ctrl-F ) in Notepad++ you find you text. You switch to an
other application and the search box still open when you click on Notepad++
bouton on you task bar Notepad dosent open you need to come to an other
application
and after that you can return to Notepad++. This bug is only there after your
search.

recherche.

Sylvain.

In parameter I can set up a default language . I choose SQL. I open notepad++
and I paste my SQL script but the application don't show me in SQL In the other
hand When I open the language bar SQL is selected ?!?!. I need to select and
other language and return to SQL to have the good syntax color.

If I open an other windows the application respond correctly. The same problem
when I open document with the right click. I need to select again SQL to have
the good color syntax.

? SQL pour bien affich? la syntaxe. J'ai le m?me probl?me lorsque j'ouvre
un fichier qui contient un script SQL. Je me retrouve a avoir aucune couleur
bien que dans le menu des langues je suis en mode SQL.

Sylvain.

It's a well known bug inherited from Scintilla, so it can't easily be fixed.
The FAQ I mentioned in that original thread, now at
http://notepad-plus.wiki.sourceforge.net/FindReplaceNewlineHowTo , explains
all the workarounds I know of. I would forget trying to do it with regex.

AVG 7.5 Network edition also says notepad++.exe (version 4.1.2) has the trojan.
I installed notepad++ a few weeks ago. AVG does a scan every day, but didn't
notice anything until yesterday (July 11).
