On some, maybe all, systems, when you first start the Explorer plugin, the
middle
panel showing the file names (the panel below the folder panel and above the
Filter panel) is very thin in height -- so much so, that you might not even
recognize that it's a separate panel. Move the mouse cursor to the border
between
the folder & filter panels until you see the resize cursor, then drag it up
to see the file names.

Just wanted to say that Notepad++ is a great app. I've been a die-hard gvim
user for years, but the small install and extensive features won me over.

Hi Im kinda new at using this program,I am using it to look at coversation in
our ban.txt log file inwhich i use this program just to monitor our game server
for players who swear and use obscene language.I was wondering if there is a
way just to see just that instead of having to go through line by line?I can
see at the start of the line it is represented by the word NAK ie;{UN} Killer
{zom};man that was good u fooled me i thorght u where stil standing...I just
want to get the comments up anyone got any hints to do this?

I also want to point out my fascination for this app! I can't tell how often
I searched for a syntax highlighter with customizable run ability and support
for all my favorite languages. I have also tried writing my own but that project
was just to huge for me.
So standing ovations for such a program
(Just wanted to add: The Hex editor is extremely helpful for debugging user
created files. I don't know how I could live with out it.)

BTW: Great tool!
I think, saving the settings (session.xml, config.xml etc.)
in the main Directory (same place as notepad++.exe) is a bad
idea.
I would save them in %AppData%\notepad++\
There they are user specific, and you don't have to write
to a possible read only folder.

Hi
This isn't a serious issue, but it is a real pain.
I go into the Style Configurator, and start changing the color schemes.
I can change the first color just fine, but when I go to change additional
colors,
I have to click APPLY before it will allow me to click on any other "element"
to change another color.
For instance,
Click Global Styles, Default style
Click the Backcolor, select one
Click the forecolor, select one
Then click Indent Guideline style
It switches just fine,
so pick a back and fore color as before
now try and pick Brace highlight style,
It won't select, I can't select any other element till I click APPLY.
Is this intentional?
