I can confirm and expand on this.
I'm running WinXP sp2 (fully patched). I have a mounted samba drive that
contains
perl and php scripts. It will list the files in the directory that contains
perl scripts, but non of the files from directories that contain only php files.

I haven't used this Run feature so far, but it seems you thought about it, that
is, you must have experienced not running the intended file on a number
of occasions.
My comment now would be: you have a funny way of still DRAWING attention to
you.

So I am trying to figure out how to remove marked lines in Version 3.9.
I have been to the Settings/Shortcut Mapper and Line 90 to see what the Line
Delete was all about. It didn't help unfortunately.
Also under Plugins->TextFX Vis -> (submenu), there isn't anything on there that
says "Copy marked..." or "Copy tokens..." on there..
Any help would be appreciated!

I agree, even I would like to thanks don for the new functionnality, it could
be very better with what you suggest. Now the use of column mode insertion has
got some limitation.
An another thing wich could be improve could be the possibility to make column
selection even if there is no space in the original file. For example with text
: I love notepad ++
: It is good
It is currently impossible to select
notepad++
good
The good column mode could be seen in Crimson or in Ultra Edit. Nevertheless
it could be difficult to integrate it in notepad++.
Nevertheless I think that it could be interesting too make some little
improvements.
Add a button to insert the without closing the column mode dialog box.
Add a field which directly insert text in the file.
Selection the last inserting text when opening the column mode dialog box, to
be able to directly change the text to insert without having to clear the last
text.
Have a way to watch the number of space in text to insert, because I lot of
use the column mode for my code alignment.
Thanks for your job

I get to use Notepad++ merely recently. Actually I turn to this editor because
my fortran complier Force 2.08 works out really bad on my Chinese operating
system, with ugly fonts. But I love this free complier, anyway it's free, and
it's really lite. So now I'm struggling with notepad++: why does not notepad++
provide some plugins so that, notepad++ it self as an text editor, can cooperate
really good with the lite and free compliers, I mean what ever the language
is, C/C++, fortran77, or fortran95.

I didn't use the installer, only the program files in zip format, so I have
unpack them, and use it like that. Where can I find the "set NP++ to View Source
from IE" option now?

I am not a specialist but I have eard that porting notepad++ is a full work
because it use lot of windows API function specially for interface, so it has
to be rewritten using the wx widget enstead of the window function.

Thank for Notepad++ !
now, I'll work on my LynxOS 4 system using Microsoft SFU 3.5 from Windows XP
with NFS client/server links. Note, that there is no GUI installed on this
real-time
machine to avoid time consuming ! The sharing of files via NFS work well when
you are understand access rights.
see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/interopmigration/bb380242.aspx
The last trouble was the translation CRLF to LF when I use Wordpad for example!
The SOLUTiON is Notepad++ 4.2.2, click on Format Menu, then Convert to Unix.
It's Terrific!
Please, give this hint to all unix developpers who could'nt use X11 !
Thank again
Christian

Hi, I have been using Light explorer for a while now, great plug-in thanks a
lot for it
Is it possible to add a really useful functionality to it:
* When right click a file, show in the menu:
- Full file path to clipboard
- File Name to clipboard
- Current Dir path to clipboard
* When right click a folder, show in the menu:
- Current Dir path to clipboard
- Full File Name(s) to clipboard
- File Name(s) to clipboard
all those options are to be added to the current menus.
the first three options (with file) is similar to what you see when you right
click a documnet title, currently i have to open the document every time i need
its name.
the second three options will show Dir path, a list of file with there long
names and a list of file names
Regards
