Hi,
I want to create a plugin for Notepad++. I made a DLL acc. "NppInsertPlugin"
and "PluginDemo" I found on the net. I compiled it in Borland C++ Builder. When
I copy dhe library into plugin directory of N++ and start N++, the application
fails down (ver. 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 of N++), or there is a warning "The specified
procedure could not be found" and N++ is not running (ver. 3.9, fails without
debug window).

Seems to be a problem with compatibility (different format). I would like not
to use MS VC++ compiler.

I tried to compile "NppInsertPlugin" with MinGW but the compilation failed.

Could anybody points the source that can be used for Borland Builder or other
compilers (except VC++) with correct makefile or batch file (it can do "nothing
special", I would like to verify that anything is possible with Borland, gcc,
...).
Or information how to check my DLL (from external program I can run e.g.
"getName"
function, also compiled with Borland Builder).

I had also function: "messageProc".

My e-mail addr: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Marek

Highlighting matching brackets (braces, parenthesis) is a good feature.
But it would be better if I could jump to them. I really have problems to find
a maching bracked that is a few hundred lines away ... even if it's highlighted.

A key shortcut (Strg-F6) oder a right mouse function would be great for that.

There is a very good feature in UltraEdit - however it's inexpensive but not
for free.

+ There I can switch the feature "column mode" on and off (via button oder
Alt-F3)
+ I can write and overwrite multiple lines simultaneously.
+ I can mark, copy and paste rectangles of text.
+ I can delete multiple lines of text (via destructive backspace).

This would be even very nice for notepad++

Hi,

Is it possible to assign F12 to the 'Save as' function?

It's very inconvenient to add spaces to the last line of the selection. Is it
possible to change this feature to allow selection beyond the end of lines?
Almost all editors can do that (PSPad, MS Word and so on).

Hi,

Obviously I am a new user. I am working with PC-DMIS and I was looking for
a little help editing the files. Notepad++ looks like a great product but no
one has created support for PC-DMIS and I don?t want to re-create the wheel
if I don?t have to.

Does any one know what settings I should use or if someone has already created
support for PC-DMIS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

For some reason, and I've never had this issue prior to 4.2 (at least I haven't
noticed it), but the search dialog freezes after you try to search for a
non-letter
character, followed by a space and then a letter.

For example, this combination will case it to lock up - "# a". Oh and the stange
thing is that notepad++ is still working, just the search dialog is
unresponsive.

Anyone had this problem?

Oh, to add - this only works if you click the find next button. If you press
the F3 key, it'll search fine.
