Hello,

I'm working on a vista machine but all is normal in the MS notepad and other
applications. When in notepad++ I will be typing along, the application will
hesitate for a moment then repeat the last key pressed about 10-15 times. Seems
to apply to any key pressed - backspace, enter, tab, alphanumeric.

Application seemed to work fine for a number of weeks and then this started.
I just tried upgrading to the latest release and have same issue.

thanks,

Drew

Hello All

Is there a way to open a file in the same directory than the file opened in
the active thumbnail.
In other words I would like to acces, using the Open commend, a file selection
window using the same directory than the one of the file in the active
thumbnail..

Open langs.xml in Notepad++ installation directory. (eg: C:\Program
Files\Notepad++)
In the document search for <Language name="c"
Add mc to ext attribute eg: <Language name="c" ext="c mc"
Save the file.
Next time a .mc file will be opened as c file.

<Language name="c" ext="c mc" commentLine="//" commentStart="/*"
commentEnd="*/">

Thanks/Sai

Don told me the fix will be included in the next build.

How do I change the language used inside <% %>. For example, when language is
set to HTML, it will default to using ASP inside <% %>. I wanted to change the
default to use SQL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I think it would be useful to have (maybe a button or checkbox)
That would allow you to turn on parsing of xml files(not necessarily limited
to),
such that a /n in an xml file would in fact make N++ do a carriage return, while
possibly
still showing the /n on the line so as not to omit important data.
I am also wondering if this could be done with a plugin or script, as anything
that does such a thing would be useful.

Why so complicated? Just go to

Settings > Style Configurator > Language > Perl

and add your extension under

User ext:

That's it!

It was a regression bug in Scintilla. It seems that in Scintilla v1.74 this
bug is fixed.
I have no time (and no intention) to update new version of scintilla. However,
if anyone send me the patch, I'll integrate the fixed patch.
