Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\Notepad++]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\Notepad++\command]
@="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Notepad++\\notepad++.exe \"%1\""
Without the quotes around the %1 the file name inside the editor is in 8.3 mode
using ~1 and all that...

Can put the "Folder of current file" icon & "Refresh" icon in front of "New
File" icon?
To me, they are mostly used. And seems "User Folder" is never used.
Because I want the space of the text editor to be larger, so I will make the
width of the docked Explorer smaller, and so some icons are invisible("Folder
of current file" icon & "Refresh" icon).

When I use left and right windows in th notepad++ the Ctrl+Tab key change the
tab in the current window. But I can't switch between left side and right side
documents using my keybord (it is possible only using mouse). Please add some
Hot key for it.

when I finishing editing sources with notepad++,I have to turn to other
application
to compiler to compiler my program.why don't we start a project to make compiler
of our own?
of course I,as a green hand, don't know how difficult it is to make a
compiler,but
just imagin,how wonderful it is!

I didn't get you. What for a size check. Can you tell me the function name or
position in code you guess it slows down the explorer.

The 2 features I use very often and that I've added with the software autohotkey
:
- alt Q : comment current line
- alt shift Q : uncomment current line
no need to select text !
We can also implement it using only one hotkey and detect if the line is already
commented
And we can combine this with other suggested features by detecting if text is
selected !

I've had the same problem
Since I use the software autohotkey, I've added the shortcut that do in
Notepad++
: alt, a, r, enter
But a better solution would be that DonHo add Word Wrap to shortcuts :-)

All compilers are command line tools (or I think the most of them). What do
you mean is to integrate some compilers in a own project pane with an additional
output pane. I often think about to integrate MinGW into Notepad++. For example
to build plugins for Notepad in Notepad ;).
My next small plugin is an Output window plugin. This enables other plugins
to send messages to a text box via the new messages. It can be used for
compilers
and a lot of other stuff.

installation of notepad++ or if you have added an existing plugin or if you
have developed your own plugin.

Hi Don,
My previous message never made it to the mailing list and I am not sure
if any developers saw it as there was no response so just posting it again in
a different way. Sorry if it is a repost.
I would actually like to request two small features if that is not too hard.
1) Add view/hide line numbers to the view menu since I think that is where most
people would expect to see it.
2) Save the last used filter (*.c *.h etc.) and restore it for next search
atleast
for that session. I know it is saved in the dropdown. But is it kind of pain
to select everytime you want to repeat it for the same set with a different
term.
Thanks for the nice 4.3 release. It is work great so far.

I?am a german user. It was any weeks ago, when I realized to get Opera Broser
in Run (i hope it is right, in german=Ausf?hren). It was not easy for me.
I also realized many other for me important changes. Today I installed notepad++
for a friend. But when I looked in shortcuts.xml, my changes for Opera and the
other were not to see. It would be very good, if anyone could tell me, where
I find my changes, in which file or perhaps at which place in the registry.
(I hope, my english "words" can be understand!!)
