I agree. Nevertheless you could use ctrl+alt+left or rigth arrow which is not
case sensitive

Hi

Notepad++ is very good editor but I it could be very good if the behavior of
closing tab is like in firefox: When you close a tab, it would be better to
be focus on the last open tab and on the tab which was at just behind the closed
tab.

Thanks a lot

Still happening with 4.3 under Vista. It doesn't happen on my work machine,
just my home one even though both are Vista.

(Keywords: tabs, open files list, sidebar, feature request)

I've seen a feature in Textpad that adds a simple sidebar with a list of all
the open files.
Not in the shape of tabs, just a simple list, and it looks realy, realy tidy.
This way you can easily open 20 files, and still have an easy overview.
This in combination with the "save session" option... mjum

This shoudn't be too hard to implement, anyone feels like picking this up?

One more vote for big files!
Probably not an easy feature, but essential for a stable and robust developer
editor.
You can do it guys! :)

(keywords: POSIX, regex, expressions)

Why not just implement full POSIX expressions?
Now i have top open up another editor each time i want to work with regular
expressions, since most semi-advanced features don't work, or not as expected.

I found a strange behaviour of NPP when pasting multiple lines (source is
plaintext,
NPP) :
an extra CRLF gets placed after each line.
Is it possible to stop this or is this a Beature ??

greetings and many thanks for a nifty tool,
bth

when you press CTRL+F to open the find box while the cursor is on a word, that
word it automatically placed as the search string. can this be turned off?

Also, I see a checkbox "wrap around" in the find box but I don't see what it's
for. Can someone explain this too, please?
